

Lily Bartenstein
Professor innovating in the area of theatrical design, Lily Bartenstein is an esteemed Assistant Professor of Theatre at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). With a rich background in scenic, props, lighting, and video design, she brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to her students. Bartenstein's academic journey began with an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, followed by an MFA in Scenic Design from the University of California, San Diego. Before joining CSUN, Professor Bartenstein honed her teaching skills at several prestigious institutions, including Pomona College, Cal Poly Pomona, CSArts San Gabriel Valley, and CalState LA. Her diverse teaching experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective on theatrical education, allowing her to inspire and mentor the next generation of theatre professionals. Her portfolio includes notable productions such as "Yellow Face," "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," "Head Over Heels," "Kim's Convenience," "Who Are You," and "Lizastrata."
