Cara L Davies

Dr. Cara L. Davies is pursuing novel approaches in the field of anatomy and neuroscience as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Anatomy, Neuroscience, and Health Sciences Department at the University of Findlay. Since joining the university in 2011, she has been instrumental in advancing the department's academic and research initiatives. Dr. Davies earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Heidelberg University in 1996, laying a strong foundation for her future endeavors in neuroscience. In 2003, Dr. Davies completed her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology at the University of Toledo, where she honed her expertise in the intricate workings of the brain and nervous system. Her academic journey has been marked by a commitment to understanding the complexities of neural structures and their implications for health sciences. As the Director of the Anatomy and Neuroscience Lab at the University of Findlay, she oversees a range of research projects and educational programs aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of human anatomy and brain function.
