

Dana Emmert
Professor Dana Emmert is an esteemed Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Findlay, where her work centers on advancing the field of chemistry through innovative teaching and research. Since joining the faculty in 2017, she has been instrumental in shaping the academic experiences of her students, drawing from her extensive background in both chemistry and molecular genetics. Dr. Emmert earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University in 2011, where she honed her expertise in chemical research and pedagogy. Prior to her doctoral studies, she completed her B.S. in Molecular Genetics at The Ohio State University in 2002, providing her with a solid foundation in the biological sciences. Her academic journey reflects a deep commitment to interdisciplinary approaches, which she integrates into her teaching and mentoring at the University of Findlay. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Professor Emmert is actively involved in various academic committees and initiatives aimed at enhancing the chemistry curriculum and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
