Michelle Conceison

Michelle Conceison is a distinguished Recording Industry Professor at Middle Tennessee State University, where she brings her extensive expertise in artist management, marketing, and entrepreneurship to the classroom. Her journey into the music industry began with a serendipitous moment when an artist she was working with referred to her as their "manager," igniting a lifelong passion for the field. Before joining MTSU, Michelle honed her skills in advertising and marketing, which laid a strong foundation for her subsequent career in music management. Michelle holds an MBA, which complements her practical experience and enriches her teaching.
