

Bill Allen
Bill Allen supports capacity-building efforts in the field of aerospace engineering as an Associate Professor at Middle Tennessee State University. With a longstanding affiliation with the university that began in 1995, Mr. Allen has played a pivotal role in shaping the department's academic and operational landscape. Initially joining as an adjunct faculty member and Interim AWS Facilities Manager, he transitioned to a full-time position in 1996, where he has since been instrumental in both educational and administrative capacities. Mr. Allen's multifaceted responsibilities encompass teaching a variety of aerospace classes, ensuring the maintenance and functionality of the airport campus buildings, and overseeing the management of special-use aircraft. His role extends to the procurement and upkeep of essential equipment, as well as the supervision of student workers, ensuring that they gain practical experience alongside their academic pursuits. A dedicated alumnus of Middle Tennessee State University, Bill Allen has achieved a comprehensive educational background, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1994, a Master of Education in 1996, and a Doctor of Education in 2005. His academic journey at the university has equipped him with a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of aerospace engineering, which he passionately imparts to his students.
