Ning Wang

Dr. Ning Wang is an esteemed Assistant Professor at the School of Concrete and Construction Management (SCCM) at Middle Tennessee State University. With a robust academic background, Dr. Wang earned his Ph.D. in Design, Construction, and Planning from the University of Florida, complemented by an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His foundational education in Construction Management was completed with a BS from Hebei University of Technology. Dr. Wang's research interests are diverse and cutting-edge, focusing on the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) with advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. His expertise extends to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning, where he explores innovative applications in Automatic Speech Recognition and Construction Robotics. His work in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Software Development further underscores his commitment to advancing the field of construction technology. In the classroom, Dr. Wang is dedicated to imparting knowledge in Architectural Computer-Aided Drafting & Design and Software Applications for Virtual Design and Construction.
