

Lindsey Clark
Professor Lindsey Clark is dedicated to fostering understanding of complex biological systems through her innovative research and teaching. As an Adjunct Professor in Practice and esteemed faculty member at Middle Tennessee State University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Data Science department. With a PhD from Vanderbilt University obtained in 2005 and a BS from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completed in 2000, Professor Clark has established a strong academic foundation that supports her research endeavors. Her research interests are centered around type 2 diabetes drug discovery and allosteric protein modulators, areas in which she has made significant contributions through her published papers. Her work is characterized by a deep commitment to advancing scientific understanding and developing novel therapeutic strategies. Professor Clark's dedication to research excellence is further evidenced by her receipt of an F32 individual fellowship from the National Institutes of Health, which underscores her contributions to the field. In her role at MTSU, Professor Clark is actively involved in the Data Science department, where she leverages her expertise in data analysis and modeling to enhance both her research and teaching.
