Kevin L. Bicker

As a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and the Associate Dean for Research at Middle Tennessee State University, Dr. Bicker has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding of complex chemical processes. His research interests are diverse, encompassing assay development, antimicrobial compounds, solid-phase synthesis, and the study of peptoids and peptides. Dr. Bicker completed his PhD at the University of South Carolina in 2010, following a BA from Bluffton University in 2006. His academic journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for discovery. His work in solid-phase synthesis and the development of novel antimicrobial compounds has contributed significantly to the field, offering new insights and potential therapeutic applications. In addition to his research, Dr. Bicker is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of scientists.
