Dr. Eric Posada is an accomplished Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Activities at Angelo State University, where he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the institution. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in choral conducting from Texas Tech University, a testament to his dedication and skill in the field of choral music. With a career spanning seventeen years, Dr. Posada has made significant contributions to choral music education at various academic levels. Before his current role, Dr. Posada served as the Director of Choral Music at Tyler Junior College, where he was instrumental in developing the college's choral program. His academic journey also includes a tenure as a Visiting Professor of Choral Music at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and as the Associate Director of Choral Activities at Texas A&M University. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Posada is the founder and Artistic Director of Pasión, the Rio Grande Valley's first professional chorus.
