Adam Ellwanger
Dr. Adam Ellwanger's research defines new horizons for the fields of rhetoric, composition, and critical theory. As a tenured Professor of English at the University of Houston-Downtown, he has dedicated his career to exploring the intricate dynamics of language and its impact on society. Dr. Ellwanger earned his Ph.D. in English from the University of South Carolina in 2009, and since then, he has been an integral part of the UHD faculty. At UHD, Dr. Ellwanger is known for his engaging teaching style and commitment to student success. He teaches a variety of courses, including freshman writing and advanced undergraduate courses in rhetoric and composition. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Ellwanger serves as the Graduate Director of the M.A. program in Rhetoric and Composition.
