Dr. Jeffrey W. Martz is an esteemed Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Sciences at the University of Houston-Downtown. With a profound passion for stratigraphy and paleontology, Dr. Martz has dedicated his career to the exploration and understanding of Earth's ancient past. His academic journey began in Denver, Colorado, where he was born and first developed an interest in paleontology at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Dr. Martz pursued his undergraduate education at Colorado State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Zoology.
