Dr. Mac Duis explores cutting-edge topics in educational leadership and administration, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role as Assistant Professor of Education at the University of Lynchburg. As the Director of both the Master of Education in Pre-K-12 Administration and Supervision Program and the Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies Program, Dr. Duis is committed to shaping the next generation of educational leaders. With an impressive academic background, Dr. Duis earned his EdD in Educational Leadership from the University of Virginia, where he honed his expertise in strategic educational planning and policy development. His MEd in School Leadership from Ball State University further equipped him with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of school administration. Additionally, his BA in Government from William & Mary provides him with a strong foundation in political and organizational theory, which he integrates into his teaching and research. Dr. Duis is passionate about fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration within educational settings.
