Dr. Melissa Shaffron is a distinguished Physician Assistant with over ten years of clinical experience, currently serving as the Program Director for the Master of PA Medicine program at the University of Lynchburg. Since joining the university in 2018, she has contributed significantly in various capacities, including roles as adjunct faculty, Director of Clinical Education, and Associate Program Director. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master of PA Studies from Duquesne University, followed by a Doctor of Medical Science with a specialization in PA Education from the University of Lynchburg.
