Joseph Hummel
Dr. Joseph Hummel is well-known for his work in legal education and his dedication to fostering a comprehensive understanding of law among his students. As an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law, Dr. Hummel brings a wealth of practical experience and academic insight to his teaching. He earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College, followed by a law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for legal writing and analysis. Before embarking on his academic career, Dr. Hummel practiced commercial litigation, gaining invaluable experience in the intricacies of legal disputes and the nuances of courtroom dynamics.
