Xiao Hu

Dr. Xiao Hu is internationally recognized for her pioneering work in the fields of database theory and algorithms. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo's Cheriton School of Computer Science, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her academic endeavors. Dr. Hu earned her Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and completed her bachelor's degree at Tsinghua University, both of which laid a strong foundation for her distinguished career in computer science. Dr. Hu's research is primarily focused on advancing the theoretical underpinnings of databases and developing innovative algorithmic solutions.
