Professor Adrijo Chakraborty is working to advance the understanding of statistical methodologies and their applications in various fields. With a robust academic foundation, he previously served as a faculty member in the Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia. His academic journey began with the completion of his degree in 2014, which laid the groundwork for his subsequent contributions to the field of statistics. Following his tenure at the University of Georgia, Professor Chakraborty transitioned to a role as a statistician at NORC at the University of Chicago. During his time there, he honed his skills in statistical analysis and research, contributing to numerous projects that required precise and innovative statistical solutions. His work at NORC was instrumental in shaping his approach to complex data challenges. Currently, Professor Chakraborty is a Visiting Associate Statistician at the US Food and Drug Administration. In this capacity, he is involved in critical research and analysis that supports the FDA's mission to protect public health. His role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that statistical rigor is applied to the evaluation of medical products, thereby enhancing the reliability and safety of healthcare solutions. Through his work, Professor Chakraborty continues to make significant contributions to the field of statistics, with a focus on its practical applications in public health and policy.
