Laura Bierema
Dr. Laura Bierema is pursuing novel approaches in the fields of Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development at the University of Georgia's College of Education. Her scholarly endeavors are deeply rooted in understanding and enhancing workplace learning, career development, and women's development. Dr. Bierema's work extends into the realms of organization development, executive coaching, leadership, and critical human resource development, where she seeks to foster environments that encourage growth and innovation. Dr. Bierema's academic journey began at Michigan State University, where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees. Her passion for adult education led her to pursue a doctorate at the University of Georgia, where she has since become a pivotal figure in her field. Her research is characterized by a commitment to exploring the intersections of gender, learning, and organizational change, with a focus on empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential. Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Bierema has contributed significantly to the academic community, authoring over 160 publications, including 10 influential books.
