Wael Jarjour

Wael Jarjour, MD, has revolutionized the understanding of autoimmune diseases through his extensive research and clinical expertise. Dr. Jarjour earned his medical degree from Damascus University, School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria, in 1982. Following his graduation, he pursued a residency at University Hospital, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, which he completed in 1988. His commitment to furthering his expertise led him to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he completed his subspecialty training in 1990. These formative years laid the foundation for his distinguished career in rheumatology and immunology. Currently, Dr. Jarjour serves as the Director of the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology at The Ohio State University.
