Empowering stakeholders through research on legal advocacy and criminal justice, Thomas Perricone is an esteemed Adjunct Professor of Law at Penn Carey Law. Since 2006, he has been imparting his extensive knowledge and experience in Trial Advocacy to aspiring legal professionals. A proud alumnus of the Law University of Pennsylvania, Perricone has dedicated his career to the pursuit of justice and the development of effective legal strategies. After completing his law degree, Perricone embarked on a distinguished career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, where he honed his skills in prosecuting complex cases over an 11-year tenure. His commitment to public service and legal excellence led him to the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1994, where he has made significant contributions ever since. Perricone's expertise in handling high-stakes cases is evident from his 13-year leadership as the Chief of the USAO's Narcotics and Organized Crime Section. Under his guidance, the section tackled some of the most challenging criminal enterprises, ensuring justice and safety for the community. In 2018, he took on the role of Chief of the USAO's National Security and Cybercrime Section, where he continues to address the evolving threats in the digital age. Throughout his career, Perricone has been recognized for his strategic acumen and dedication to the rule of law.
