Nili Gold

Dr. Nili Gold supports capacity-building efforts in the field of Modern Hebrew Literature as a distinguished Professor in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at the University of Pennsylvania. Her academic journey began in Haifa, Israel, where she was born and raised, and later pursued her B.A. and High School Teachers diploma at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She furthered her education in the United States, earning both her M.A. and Ph.D. from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Among her notable works are "Lo Kabrosh: Gilgule Imagim Ve-tavniyot Be-shirat Yehuda Amichai" published in 1994, and "Yehuda Amichai: The Making of Israel's National Poet" released in 2008.
