Christi Lockwood

Christi Lockwood serves as an Assistant Professor of Commerce at the UVA McIntire School of Commerce, where she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. She earned her Ph.D. in Organization Studies from Boston College, where she also completed her M.S. in the same field. Her academic journey began with a B.S. in Hotel Management from Cornell University, laying a strong foundation for her future endeavors in both industry and academia. Lockwood's research interests lie at the intersection of organizational and societal cultures, with a particular focus on cultural entrepreneurship, collective meaning-making, and institutional change.
