Haifeng Xu
Dr. Haifeng Xu applies his expertise to solve challenges in the realms of Artificial Intelligence, Computational Game Theory, Machine Learning, Algorithms, and Optimization. As a Visiting Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science, he is dedicated to advancing the field through both innovative research and inspiring teaching. Dr. Xu earned his PhD from the University of Southern California in 2018, where he developed a strong foundation in computational methodologies and theoretical frameworks. Following his doctoral studies, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University in 2019, where he further honed his skills and expanded his research horizons. Since joining the faculty at UVA, Dr. Xu has been actively involved in various research projects that aim to bridge the gap between theoretical models and practical applications.
