Dr. Kelly Nash is a distinguished Professor and Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Dillard University, followed by a Master of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Michigan. She then earned her Ph.D. in Physics from UTSA, solidifying her expertise in the field. Dr. Nash's research interests are diverse and cutting-edge, focusing on Biophotonics, Nano-bio interfaces, Nanoparticle synthesis and spectroscopy, and Nanotransducers. Her work in these areas has significantly contributed to the advancement of knowledge and technology, particularly in the realm of nanotechnology and its applications in medicine and industry. At UTSA, Dr. Nash is a pivotal figure in the Physics program, where she is deeply committed to fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation.
