Jessica Tan

Dr. Jessica C. Tan serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Residence within the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as at San Francisco General Hospital. Her academic journey began with a medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, completed in 2006. Following this, she honed her expertise through a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego, and further specialized with a Neuroradiology fellowship at UCSF. Dr. Tan's research interests are deeply rooted in the field of neuroradiology, with a focus on stroke imaging, disorders of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow, and vascular imaging, particularly in the context of acute trauma. Her work also extends to the imaging of carotid plaque, contributing to advancements in the understanding and treatment of vascular conditions. Her commitment to these areas is reflected in her active role in providing neuroradiology services at San Francisco General Hospital. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Tan is dedicated to education and mentorship.
