Dr. Rebeccah McKibben Brusca is an esteemed Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she also serves as an academic hospitalist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). Her academic journey began at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. She further honed her skills during her residency at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital Osler Internal Medicine Program, which laid a strong foundation for her career in medicine. Dr. Brusca is deeply committed to medical education and health equity, playing pivotal roles in these areas. She is the Site Director for the Internal Medicine residency at ZSFG, where she mentors and guides the next generation of medical professionals. Additionally, she is a Bridges coach at the UCSF School of Medicine, where she supports students in their journey to becoming compassionate and skilled physicians.
