Gergely V. Záruba

Professor Gergely V. Záruba is working to advance the understanding of pervasive computing and embedded systems as a distinguished faculty member and Department Chair in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department at Wichita State University. With a robust academic background, he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, complemented by an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest. Professor Záruba's research interests are diverse and impactful, focusing on areas such as pervasive computing, embedded systems, assistive technologies, and computer networks. His work aims to push the boundaries of how technology can be seamlessly integrated into everyday life, enhancing accessibility and efficiency.
