Marcelle Beaulieu

Pioneering solutions for emerging issues in migration and immigration, Marcelle Beaulieu is a distinguished scholar and Ph.D. alumna of the Stone Center for Latin American Studies at Tulane University. With roots in New Orleans, she embarked on her academic journey by earning a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Mississippi. Her academic pursuits have been deeply influenced by her passion for understanding the complex dynamics of migration, immigration, and emigration policies, with a particular focus on Latin America, especially Central America and Mexico. Marcelle's scholarly contributions have been recognized at numerous conferences where she has presented her insightful research. Her dedication and innovative approach to her field have earned her accolades, including the prestigious award for the best campus-wide graduate paper on a Latin American topic. This recognition underscores her commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering dialogue on critical issues affecting the region.
