Alice Lee

Committed to excellence in scholarship on microbiology and genome sequencing, Alice Lee serves as an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at NC State University. With a passion for innovative teaching and research, she was honored with the prestigious LeRoy and Elva Martin Award for Teaching Excellence in 2018, a testament to her dedication to education and student success. Alice's research interests are deeply rooted in the exploration of genome sequences, particularly focusing on Levilactobacillus brevis autochthonous to commercial cucumber fermentations.
