Dr. Craig Gurney is an esteemed Assistant Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. With a robust academic and clinical background, Dr. Gurney has dedicated his career to advancing the fields of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Cincinnati Residency Training Program, where he honed his skills in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, earning board certifications in both specialties. Dr. Gurney's clinical interests are diverse and encompass Adolescent Medicine, Pediatrics, Immunizations, Newborn Care, Preventive Health, Primary Care, and Telehealth. His commitment to these areas is reflected in his active participation in various educational initiatives and fellowships. Notably, he was involved in the "We Thrive" Learning Collaborative, an initiative aimed at combating childhood obesity, demonstrating his dedication to improving pediatric health outcomes. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gurney has pursued advanced training through a Multidisciplinary Fellowship on Aging at the University of Iowa. This fellowship has enriched his understanding of the complexities of aging, further broadening his expertise in providing comprehensive care across the lifespan. Dr. Gurney's academic journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University, followed by a Medical Degree from the University of Iowa Medical School.
