Dr. Gregory Gilson, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Philosophy Department at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). He earned his doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he honed his expertise in the history and philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, and practical reason. His leadership role at UTRGV is complemented by his involvement in the UTeach Natural Sciences program, where he plays a pivotal role in integrating philosophical inquiry with scientific education for future educators.
