Betty Coneway

Dr. Betty Coneway, Ph.D., is a distinguished member of the faculty at West Texas A&M University, where she serves as the Dr. Geneva Schaeffer Professor of Education and Social Science. With a robust background in early literacy, dyslexia, and writing instruction strategies, Dr. Coneway is at the forefront of educational research and practice. Her academic journey led her to earn a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University, a testament to her dedication to advancing educational methodologies. Since joining the faculty in 2013, Dr. Coneway has been instrumental in shaping the curriculum for Reading and Early Childhood courses.
