Dr. Cristina Stanciu brings a wealth of experience in Indigenous and Multiethnic Literatures of the United States to her role as an Associate Professor of English at Virginia Commonwealth University. With a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Stanciu is deeply committed to the recovery and dissemination of Indigenous histories, as well as the exploration of multi-ethnic voices through various academic and public platforms. Her research interests are centered around Native American and Indigenous Studies, Progressive Era literature, and critical theory.
