Focusing on high-impact outcomes in the field of chemistry, Dr. Rasha Abuflaha is a distinguished faculty member in the Chemistry & Biochemistry department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. With a profound dedication to advancing the understanding of physical chemistry, Dr. Abuflaha's academic journey began with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Al al-Bayt University in Jordan. Her passion for research led her to pursue a Ph.D. in Chemistry & Biochemistry, which she completed in 2016. Under the mentorship of Professor Eddy Tysoe, Dr. Abuflaha's doctoral research made significant contributions to the field, particularly through her thesis on Electrical Measurements and Attenuated Total Reflection Infrared Spectroscopic Study of Aromatic Isocyanides and Thiols on Gold. This work not only highlighted her expertise in electrical measurements and infrared spectroscopy but also underscored her commitment to exploring the intricate interactions of chemical compounds on metal surfaces. Dr. Abuflaha's current research interests lie at the intersection of electrical measurements, infrared spectroscopy, and physical chemistry.
