Jungjin Kim

Dr. Jungjin Kim, MD, serves as an Assistant Professor and the Mental Health & Addiction Service Line Chief at the University of Minnesota Medical School. With a robust background in psychiatry, he is board-certified in general, addiction, and forensic psychiatry. Dr. Kim's previous roles include serving as the Medical Director of the Inpatient Program in the Division of Alcohol, Drugs, and Addiction at McLean Hospital, as well as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. His clinical and scholarly pursuits are deeply rooted in the management of alcohol and drug withdrawal, with a keen interest in the complexities of co-occurring psychiatric illnesses in individuals with substance use disorders.
