Dr. Helena Molero applies her expertise to solve challenges in pediatric respiratory health and sleep medicine. As an Assistant Professor and Fellowship Program Director in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the University of Minnesota, she plays a pivotal role in advancing both clinical practice and academic research. Dr. Molero is also a valued faculty member at the Cystic Fibrosis Center within the Department of Pediatrics, where she contributes to the development of innovative treatments and care strategies for children with respiratory conditions. Dr. Molero's academic journey began at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where she earned her MD. She then honed her skills in Pediatrics during her residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Her passion for pediatric pulmonology led her to the University of Chicago, where she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology. Her dedication to her field is further evidenced by her board certifications in Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, and Pediatrics.
