Dr. Jeffrey A. Allen, MD, serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. With a specialized focus on inflammatory neuropathy, Dr. Allen dedicates his research to understanding and treating conditions such as Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN). His work is pivotal in enhancing diagnostic techniques and developing improved treatments, with a particular interest in investigating new medications and optimizing the use of existing therapies. Dr. Allen's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University. He furthered his education with a Master of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology from Northwestern University, followed by earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
