Amin Davoodi
Dr. Amin Davoodi is an esteemed Assistant Professor of Bilingual and ESL Education at the University of Texas Permian Basin. With roots in Kermanshah, Iran, Dr. Davoodi has cultivated a rich academic background, culminating in a Ph.D. in ESL, Technology, and Teacher Education from Texas A&M University in 2021. His academic journey reflects a deep commitment to advancing educational equity for English language learners and home-bound students, areas in which he has made significant contributions. Dr. Davoodi's research interests are diverse yet interconnected, focusing on TESOL, robot-assisted learning, and bilingual education. This expertise was showcased when he organized the Technology-Enhanced Language Learning International Conference, which successfully attracted over 400 participants from 60 countries, underscoring his influence in the field.
