The Mines athletic teams compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). The Mines athletic department is also home to the Orediggers Marching Band, which has been performing at Mines football games since 1919. The band has also performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rose Bowl, and the Super Bowl.
