Ghana Institute of Languages: Admission Requirements Undergraduate Programs
General Requirements:
- Completed Senior High School Certificate (WASSCE/SSSCE) or equivalent
- Minimum grade of C6 in English and other relevant subjects
- Satisfactory performance in an interview
Specific Program Requirements:
- Diploma in French (Teaching First Cycle): Minimum of grade C6 in French, English, and any two other subjects
- Diploma in Spanish (Teaching First Cycle): Minimum of grade C6 in Spanish, English, and any two other subjects
- Diploma in Translation (French/Spanish/Chinese): Minimum of grade C6 in both English and the target language
- Diploma in Chinese (Teaching First Cycle): Minimum of grade C6 in Chinese, English, and any two other subjects
Postgraduate Programs
General Requirements:
- First degree from an accredited university
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Satisfactory performance in an interview
Specific Program Requirements:
- Master of Arts in Translation and Interpreting (MTI): Relevant undergraduate degree in translation, languages, or related field
- Master of Arts in Linguistics (MAL): Relevant undergraduate degree in languages, linguistics, or related field
- Master of Arts in French (Teaching Second Cycle): Relevant undergraduate degree in French or related field
- Master of Arts in Spanish (Teaching Second Cycle): Relevant undergraduate degree in Spanish or related field
Application Procedure:

Wireless Internet Access
Wireless internet access is available throughout the campus. Students and faculty can connect to the network using their laptops, tablets, or smartphones. The network is secure and provides fast and reliable internet access.

Students and faculty have access to email and other communication tools such as Microsoft Office 365. These tools allow students and faculty to communicate with each other and with staff members.
