Professor Christina Doll is an esteemed Associate Professor of Health Science at Ball State University, where she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students and colleagues. She earned her PhD in Health Communication & Mixed Methodology from Purdue University, further solidifying her foundation in the field with an MA in Health Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her academic journey began with a BA in Public Relationships & Rhetorical Advocacy from Purdue University, which laid the groundwork for her future endeavors in health communication. Dr. Doll's research interests are deeply rooted in the critical areas of health communication, food insecurity, and nutrition education. She is particularly passionate about exploring the dynamics of health messaging strategies and how they can be optimized to improve public health outcomes. Her work often delves into the environments of food pantries, seeking to understand and address the challenges faced by low-income communities in accessing nutritious food.
