

Stefan Robila
Inspiring change in the area of computer science, Dr. Stefan Robila is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Montclair State University. With a robust academic foundation, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Iasi in 1997, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University in 2000. He further advanced his expertise by obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from Syracuse University in 2002. Dr. Robila's research interests are diverse and cutting-edge, encompassing independent component analysis, hyperspectral sensors and data, and computer security. He is particularly focused on the distributed processing of remote sensed data and the innovative field of information hiding in images. His work in these areas contributes significantly to advancements in technology and security, reflecting his commitment to pushing the boundaries of computer science. As a senior member of both the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Dr. Robila is recognized for his contributions to the field.
