Dr. Sarah Carrig is revolutionizing practices in the field of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As a Senior Lecturer of Spanish, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her students, having earned a BA in Spanish from Williams College and an MA in English from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Since joining UNCG in 2012, Dr. Carrig has been an integral part of the Languages, Literatures, and Cultures department, where she has taught a diverse array of language and culture courses. Dr. Carrig's research and teaching interests are deeply rooted in the Spanish language, Hispanic and Latino cultures, service learning, and the intricate dynamics of African American-Latino relations.
