Whitney Aultman

Dr. Whitney Aultman's initiatives have impacted the field of pharmacy through her dedication to optimizing medication therapy and improving patient outcomes. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University, she combines her academic expertise with practical experience as a Clinical Pharmacist at State of Franklin Healthcare Associates. Her collaborative approach with healthcare providers ensures that patients receive the most effective and personalized medication regimens. Dr. Aultman earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University, where she laid the foundation for her career in clinical pharmacy. She further honed her skills by completing PGY-1 and PGY-2 Ambulatory Care residencies at Beaumont Hospital, gaining valuable experience in managing complex patient cases. Her clinical interests are diverse and include heart failure, COPD/asthma, diabetes, smoking cessation, and pain management, areas where she has made significant contributions through research and practice. In addition to her professional roles, Dr. Aultman is actively involved in the pharmacy community as a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the Tennessee Pharmacists Association.
