Mohammed Alawad

Dr. Mohammed Alawad is an esteemed Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wayne State University. With a robust academic foundation, he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida. His research expertise spans across several cutting-edge domains, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and systems, energy-efficient and high-performance computing, as well as privacy-aware and secure AI technologies. Before his tenure at Wayne State University, Dr. Alawad contributed significantly to the field as a Research Scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
