Sally Villasenor
Dr. Sally Villaseñor, DNP, RN, ACNP-BC, is an esteemed Assistant Professor (Clinical) and the Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education Program Coordinator at Wayne State University's College of Nursing. With an impressive 26-year career in critical care, emergency department, and urgent care settings, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role. As a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner, Dr. Villaseñor's expertise is deeply rooted in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care of Adults, Intensive and Critical Care Nursing, and Nursing Education. In her academic role, Dr. Villaseñor is actively involved in teaching a variety of courses within the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Her teaching portfolio includes physical assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacotherapeutics, and nursing informatics, where she imparts her extensive clinical knowledge to aspiring nursing professionals.
