

Scott Sagel
A champion for advancing diversity in medical research and education, Scott D. Sagel is a distinguished Professor in the Department of SOM-PEDS at the University of Colorado Denver - Anschutz Medical Campus. With a robust academic background, Dr. Sagel earned his MD from the prestigious Harvard Medical School. He further honed his expertise in pediatrics through a residency and fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine at Children's Hospital Boston, where he developed a keen interest in cystic fibrosis. Dr. Sagel's research is primarily centered on noninvasive biomarkers of proteolytic activity in cystic fibrosis, a field in which he has made significant contributions.
